Hola a todos, soy Javi Arjona de Alaquas y os voy a contar un poquito del que es el emblema de nuestro pueblo.

Nuestro castillo, declarado Monumento Histórico y Artístico el 26 de abril de 1918 y Bien de Interés Cultural el 1 de diciembre de 1999,El actual Castillo de Alaquàs es el resultado de un gran proyecto constructivo datado a principios del s. XVI. La estructura principal, y con ella la totalidad del espacio construido en sus diversas plantas, se concluye en el propio siglo XVI, aunque con ciertas modificaciones respecto al plan de obra inicial. El castillo se empezó a construir en el 1582 por orden de un heredero llamado Luis Pardo de la Casta acabaron de construirlo en 1782.
